EHEN HELSINKI CONFERENCE REPORT
Helsinki was indeed memorable in many ways. In the first place the sun shone for the entire time we were in Helsinki. In fact, based on that experience we really cannot understand the problems the Finns have with winter.
Of primary importance, however, is the confirmation that Luc Stijnen of Zonnige Kempen, EHEN's Member in Belgium was elected the new EHEN Chairman at the AGM on the 22nd October. Luc will be Chairman of the Network until 2009 and we wish him all success. I am sure I speak for all, when I say that Luc will be able to count on the support of all EHEN Members and we sincerely hope that his contegious enthusiasm will encourage us all to be more involved with the activities of EHEN. |

 If this happens to be your first visit, the Members of EHEN extends a warm welcome.....you will
obviously not be noticing any changes to our website and we therefore invite you to have a careful look
at the work the Network has been involved in over the last 13
years.
If you are, however, a return visitor, you will certianly be seeing some major
changes. Although we have made several attempts over the last years to
make the website more interesting, we have not been able to find the
right "formula" and somehow unable to sufficiently excite the
Members to contribute to the content that makes the difference to a
dynamic website. |
